Engine: 2.8L V6
Transmission: 700r4 big old automatic
Axle/Gears: 3.42 one wheel smoker
2.8 to tpi swap
I just picked up an 86 tpi motor on ebay for $100(only has 76k) and plan on putting it in my 2.8l 88 sport coupe. It came with a tranny and i know i need motor mounts and new accessory brakets. Just curious as to what else I need to have (besides chassis stuff) to make the swap.

Did you get the harness? ECM? MAF? Air cleaner? Is the fuel system complete (regulator, hoses, etc.)?
You're going to need throttle cables, radiator hoses, other small things. Hopefully the engine-side mounts were left on the engine.

The fuel system is complete. Any ideas where i could get the harness and ecm for a decent price?
I haven't gotten a good look at the motor yet to see if the mounts are there or not any idea where i could pick some up (besides a salvage yard)
