350 HO shop manual
350 HO shop manual
Hey everybody,
sorry if this is a repost, but I couldn't find any answers searching through the old posts. I have a 1984 Camaro Z28 that the previous owner had upgraded to the 350 HO. I already have a shop manual for the car itself because I like doing everything the right way when i try to fix something, but of course the 1984 camaro didn't have the 350 HO as an option so i have no info on it. I know for a fact that the 1969 Firebird had the 350 HO as an option, but short of buying the shop manual for that vehicle, does anybody know if there is a specific manual just for the 350 HO?

AFAIK there is not.
It's a small block Chevy. (Which incidentally, the 350 in a 69 Firebird is not.... applying the "HO" buzzword doesn't make 2 radically different things identical.) All the same things that apply to any other small block Chevy like torque specs and such, apply to that one. In other words, for at least 99.999% of all possible applications, your existing car shop manual contains everything you need to know for that motor. The one and only different thing is the intake bolt torque, which comes in the gasket set.
What is it you're really wanting to know?
