Is a Motown the best?
Is the Motown the best iron block you can get? Money isnt as important to me as having a bullet proof motor. Have heard many good things about motown, but have also heard of people wanting darts instead. Motor will be outfitted with a fully forged bottom end, high flowing heads, superram, and a D1SC pro-charger blower roughly putting 12 psi. What would you get?

if money is not an issue then you can't go wrong with dart or motown.

Get a Dart little M block. 400 small block is the way to go. Chevy High Performance has done some builds with this block and recommends it.
Go with a good aluminum block, It's 100lbs lighter, I did.

I've also read of a 454 small block in Chevy high performance. If you've got the cash, go big cubic inch small block.

I also remember reading that when using an AL block, you want to bring your main bearing clearances down, since the AL grows at a different rate.
I heard somewhere, that either Motown or Dart blocks, cause some kind of headache with certain cylinder heads, something about a port not aligning? I'm sorry this information is so completely vague, I just remember it being a red flag to think about. I want to say that I heard this from xpndbl3, but it may have been someone else here.
You can buy them direct from the company I imagine, or from Summit obviously.
Edit, found a lead, something along these lines, for a dart block;

motown block and AFR heads don't get along, the coolant passages are exposed. The new eliminator heads might not be shaped the same way i'm not sure. But it's a costly problem as AFR considers the heads mounted and not returnable and motown says it's AFR's fault.
After doing some research, listening to suggestions, and asking around, I am leaning pretty heavily towards the Dart Little M block. Now to find the best price. I also want to get the splayed caps.
