K frame replace?
K frame replace?
i built a 350 small block...to put in my "92 rs.. the headers im using are hooker comp long tube headers..my ? is does anyone know how to go around replacing the k frame...?

headers wont fit unless i notch the k frame or buy a aftermarket one...

Support the engine from the top or completely remove it.
Disconnect the brake lines and anything else attached from the body to the k-member. Disconnect the brake lines at the flex hoses.
Disconnect the lower ball joint from the spindle.
Unbolt the 6 bolts from underneath and drop the old k-member down. The k-member and a-arms will come out as one assembly.

Unbolt the 6 bolts from underneath and drop the old k-member down. The k-member and a-arms will come out as one assembly.
