How much power..
Im swaping the 305 to a 350. So what are your opinions on how much power this budget setup will generate.

650 double pumper.

I take that back. I didn't look at the engine you linked, just the intake, cam, & carb. The heads on that engine with their large chambers and poor flow would hold it back. Something over 300, probably, but not 350.
Put on Vortec heads w/Vortec RPM intake, everything else the same, more like 375 HP.

Those are stock replacement truck heads, poor valve springs, etc.
I would go this route instead http://www.sdpc2000.com/catalog/2172...former-RPM.htm . Has everything to do the job, including gaskets, bolts, and rocker arms (the rocker arms from that crate engine won't work on Vortec heads), and the heads are upgraded for more valve lift and RPM capability. If you don't have center bolt valve covers, you'll need those as well.
Don't believe the picture in the SDPC link. That's a standard Performer q-jet Vortec intake, not the RPM (squarebore only available in RPM Vortec at this time).

Is this for the '91 or the '86? Or something else?
If the '91, your valve covers will fit the Vortec heads. Rocker arms will, too, for that matter, but why not go with the new ones? (Unless you upgrade from stamped.)

that short block with that head/intake package, cam and the 650, you should be around 375hp.. with a pumpgas friendly 9.6:1 compression ratio.. thats my guess

May want to price the 350HO engine something like: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...1&autoview=sku
It comes with the vortec heads. By the time you get the other long block, the vortec heads, cams, etc. you've probably exceeded the cost for the HO, and it comes with shiny valve covers (and a warranty on everything).

Its going in the 86 IROC the 91 is a v6 and the 86 is already a v8 with carb, so that will take away a few issues.
