We swaped a 350, with a 327, (a lot more fun) all we did was pull the motor dont do this but we just unbolted the motor and yanked real hard. We then put the motor in slaped a carb on hocked up the spedo a few after market gagues replaced the electric fuel pump with a pick up so we could use the manual pump and had alot of fun till we drove it into the tree. (dont do that)

If you are going carb, you dont really need all that much, depending on what the 327 has on it to begin with. If it does not have an intake or distributor, you will need to keep those. As fas as the carb, if it came with one, you cant use the electric quadrajet well at all without the corrasponding ECU. I would suggest a holley or edelbrock. All of the accessories (PS pump, Alternator) will have to be put onto the new engine, as well as exhaust. That would be the perfect time to put in headers if you have the money, since it would be less work anyways (you can put the engine in with them on). I would suggest getting a new fuel pump as well, with an electric you will also have to get a regulator and wire it in. List all the parts your engine currently has, and figure out what can be reused (the two blocks are essentially the same, aside from displacement) and what you would like to get replaced. Dont forget new motor mounts while you are at it.
It is a 327 bored.060 over with a 4 barrel carb and a mechanical fuel punp. I am going to pick it up on Saturday morning. I just wanted a general idea of what i was goin to have to get or re wire.I will also have to put a need igniton cylinder from an older camao?
