LT4 into a 91 Camaro
LT4 into a 91 Camaro
It's been in the works for some time and it is finally a reality! I read through countless number of threads on many different forums looking for the right swap for my third gen camaro. I decided to go with a 383 LT4 build up and I'm really excited to get behind the wheel when the swap is complete. Choosing the engine parts wasn't all that difficult as I gathered a great list from what other members of the forum were using, but when it came time to choosing a fuel injection system, well that's when things got complicated.
If you've done the research on efi, wiring, computers, chips, etc., then you know what I'm talking about! Luckily I found a shop that has a great reputation for engine swaps. I spoke to the owner and explained to him what I was trying to do. He was very knowledgable and said that he had done custom efi wiring for many types of efi systems. After a few correspondances, I decided to go with him for my swap and I feel I've made a great choice.
If you're thinking about doing a swap and have questions about efi systems then I'd recommend this guy for sure. He said it would be alright if I posted his name and number since he's had people call before saying he was refered by someone on a msg forum. :-)

I hope to have pictures posted when I get my ride!
