Re: motor swap
If the 350 TPI is still in the GTA, I'd advise to take lots of pictures of the engine compartments, special attentions to vac lines, wires, and sensors. You can never take too much pictures. Make sure you label the wire harness. I've done TBI and TPI engine. If this is your 1st time doing this then it will dificult. Get a Chiltons book to help you remove and install the engine. Depending on how many miles are on the 350, you may want to do some work on the engine. If you plan on putting a cam or any aftermarket parts, I suggest getting the parts first so you can install them into the 350 engine while is out of the car. Installing parts later is a PITA, especially headers and cam.

Re: motor swap
If you wanna do it faster you can re-use your TBI with your Trans Am engine. TBI setups seem to like the TPI heads and camshaft so you could see a real improvement without tons of work. You need to get some TBI injectors for a 350 from a pickup truck or turn up your fuel pressure a little to make the right balance.
This setup will keep your fuel injection
