LT1 short Block (100,000 miles sound, but needed to be rebuilt…being prepped to be a 383)
Cam: GTP-6 .568/.592 236/242 duration, 112 lsa (10,000 miles)
Lingenfelter ported new aluminum heads (10,000 miles… new springs)
Lingenfelter ported stock intake manifold (10,000 miles)

They were taken by a roommate and I was promised they would be replaced. Well he is welching on replacing them and he does not want to give me what I think fair value is for them. He says they worth this I say they worth that.

I just want some impartial value from a outside party.
What would you expect them to cost if you were buying them?

I have had patchy results looking on auctions, calling yards, venders, and finding listings.

Used prices...
So far $800-500 for the block
Cam $180-300
Heads $900-1400
Intake manifold nothing but stock prices: $100-150
Porting $300

New prices...
Block : nada
Cam: $250-399 (GTP says all cam bw this no price for that cam)
Heads: $1765.00
Intake manifold: nada, but 300.00 with core swap for porting...

I'm thinking the stuff should fall around 2000.00 in value. What do you think? More or less?

Cam and heads should be quoted at new price because that is the cost of replacement. If they were cheaper he wouldn't want to keep yours.

Intake would be 400 bucks because you have to pay to have it ported again.

I'm honestly looking at more than your 2 grand value because of the labor value. I think 2 thousand is one hell of a deal.

conducting a urinating olympiad by debating the value of the
items. By taking it, he has demonstrated that he has no
intentions of compensating you, at ANY value.
Prosecute his a** legally for theft, and argue the
value in court.
