i have a question, i was wondering if i could put my ported 202 heads off my 350 onto a 305 with a stock cam i was also gonna change the intake and make it carbed along with an msd ignition will this run correctly or do i have to change the cam ?? does a 350 cam and pusrods fit into a 305 i was aware that it is the same block but a bigger bore can somone please help me i am abou to start working on putting a stall converter into it in bout 5 min

 

Your 305 and 350, what years are they? Not all parts interchange unless the two engines are the same year. Even then, some of the 305s and 350s made 1987 and newer are roller cam and some are not.

 

the cam had better fit I'm going to do that swap tomorrow after school!!! as far as i know if the engine had the provisions for a roller cam and if that is in fact what you are swapping it should work as far as the heads go if they were on your 350 granted you have the same block they should work on your 305.
But why are you downsizing again?
