any advise would be very appriciated and all questions answered but i do have a qustion of my one i'm planning on putting in and taking out my motor and trans as a single piece is it adviseable to use a lift plate on the intake to do this or should i put bolts on the block itself to do this
Thanks!!

I don't know what it is about putfile, but I can't get to it through my work ISP.
I've pulled and installed engine & tranny together twice, using a tilt sling. It hits the firewall/cowl lip. The liftplate on the intake is balanced for engine-only, so that isn't going to work.
Picking up a couple of intake bolts toward the back if the engine would work.

you mean install a couple of bolts into the head where the intake goes and use them instead? even though my heads are aluminum? and how do you get around hitting the cowl lip? thanks

If you use chains instead of a tilt sling, you shouldn't have any problems with the cowl. Use 2 chains/4 bolts since you have aluminum heads.
