Mech Fuel Pump on beefed 350

Hi there,

just a short question:

You can see my engine combo in the sig (was a bad 13.1@108mph). The engine was in my 90s chassis before the car crashed so I had the eletrical stock pump with Mallory FPR.
No I have a 87 car with the LG4 engine and mech fuel pump.

When I swap my engine in, will the mechanical fuel pump deliver enough fuel for the engine?

Greetings and thanks,

Simon

The '87 also has an in-tank electric, a known failure-prone part.

The mechanical will handle the engine, but if the electric isn't doing its part, the mechanical won't be able to hold up its end of the bargin.

LOL, my LG4 would regularly suck the quadrajet dry on my bone stock LG4. Once it happened while trying to avoid a speeding ticket. The car was 6 months old at the time but who knows, maybe there was a problem with it.
