305 TBI to 383 ???
So I was looking at this engine on ebay and seriously considering it:

Assuming that I go with a carb for now, besides the obvious things like headers, new accessories, what else would I need to get this swap done?

It's basically an EFI to carb swap. There's a tech article linked from the thirdgen.org homepage that addresses the basics.
You'll need to lower fuel pressure one way or another.

Or for that matter, pick up a 454 TB at the junkyard, and get a TBI - 4-barrel adapter, and do a little chip programming, and keep it TBI. There's no law (that I know of) that says if you get that motor, you have to put a carb on it.

Well I would like to keep the TBI and do a little chip programming (since I am a software engineer by day) but I didn't want people to jump all over me for not upgrading to a better EFI system. So if I did keep the TBI I would need bigger injectors and the chip programming stuff. Any other incidentals?
