freeze plugs
im building a 350 and i am going to put the freeze plugs in today and i was wondering the best way to do this properly.

IMHO if you have never done it let some one who has done it befor do it. But if you or dead set on doing it the way I did mine is to get a flat faced hammer (body hammer) and put some sealer around the plugs and tap them into place or if you don't have the hammer use a big socket.

Go to AZ or Advance or napa ................. Get the one in the brown bottle with the Indian on it thats what I used havent had a problem so far. I dont know the real name of it sry.

"Indian Head Shellac" is what you're thinking of. If the block isn't corroded, you don't need any sort of sealer, but it certainly won't hurt anything.
Use a socket just slightly smaller than the inside diameter of the plug and drive it in with a hammer, being sure to make sure you're putting it in straight. It's hardly rocket science, even if you've never done it before.
