A 5 spd should have a minimum of 3.27/3.23 gears for motivation,3.42-3.73 would really set it off!
I hate to say this after you spent some cash, those edelbrock headers you bought are a restriction they bottle-neck at the collector the heddmans or the hookers are the shortie meal ticket.I bought a Formula 1990 w/5.7,chip,3.42s,open air box and a 700r4 with the Edelbrocks and it ran consistant 13.8s.I swapped the hedders to the Hookers and ran 13.6s and the reason is the Edelbrocks have a 1-5/8 primary and the collector is just short of 2.5" wheras the hooker/heddman design is 1-5/8 w/3'' collector no more bottle neck and the Hooker/Hedddmans are less expensive

305 to 350 TBI info can be found on the TBI forum. Much better source than this forum, I'm afraid.
