where the &*$% do this wires go???-PICS

ive switched from tbi to carb and need help finding where a few wires go. well if ur looking at the engine bay from the front of the car on either side of the block there are 2 grommets coming from the firewall. on the D/S theres a connector and a hose, and on the P/S theres maybe 4 or 5 connectors. do i still need these? can anybody tell me where they go/ used to go ? thanks! see pics!

1st pic- thats the connector/hose comming from drivers side

2nd& 3rd pic- sorry there kinda hard to see but those are of the connectors comming from the passenger side

any info would help! thanks!

The first one you have is for the cruise control. second or 3rd...kinda hard to see. best thing i can tell you is try starting the car. if it starts and everything works then not needed

Re: where the &*$% do this wires go???-PICS

the second pic has a round connector, that looks like the fan switch connection, the others are probably emission control wires that used to go to the carb. if you can trace them through the harness, i know that the only wires that you may need that come out of the passenger side fender are the wires for the speed sensor, if so equipped, the torque converter lockup, if so equipped, and i wire that goes to the battery for the computer power i think.

there is a grommet low, down by the lower right side of the heater box, and the speed controls and blower fan wires some out of that grommet as well as a tube for the vacuum actuators for the dash vents

Re: where the &*$% do this wires go???-PICS

It's a 91 car; no carb wires there.

In the 3rd pic, what I primarily see are the blower motor high-speed relay connector, the blower motor connector itself, and a 3rd one I don't recognize.

The small harness on the DS with a hose and a few wires, is for the cruise.

The harness that comes through the firewall right behind the pass side valve cover, is for the HVAC.

Re: where the &*$% do this wires go???-PICS

yes i removed my ac. well ill remove the cruise control hose and connector but i think im goin to just tuck the p/s connectors away for right now until i figure out what im goin to do about ac or whatever
also i had another question; i want to keep my speedo and stock fuel gauge. theres a connector underneath the car, right near the fuel tank. i beleive the connector comes from the fuel tank sending unit or whatever u call it. well i removed my stock intank pump and now have an external pump mounted right next to that connector. but when i turn the key on none of the 3 wires goin into the connector has power? is this because my computer isnt hooked up?

** the connector im talking about is about 10inches to the right and up about 6 inches haha . i thought i had a pic of it but i guess i dont so this is the next best thing
