Maybe the 5.9 isn't too big for a third gen. I think I'd have an easier time getting my '83 6.2 into my '84 Trans Am.

yeah, the 6.2s and 6.5L diesels will fit darn near anywhere a SBC 350 will fit. It's all about what and where you want to move things. Check the vid out in my previous post, the 6.5L fits snugly, but enough room to change all 8 glow plugs with ease. where did my spark plugs go?
