91 305 to 310

ok heres what i was wanting to do but i now thing i will have some major issues if doign soo my car is a rs so tbi 5 speed and i found a guy who is goign to sell me a 305 tpi complet acc. harness ecm tranny maf. but the motor does run but heres where i really am getting to my father old hot rodder built a 305 up bored 60 over nice rv cam i think 202 and 190 valves he specified but i dont remember i was wandering if i could put the tpi on that setup since iknow that motor is waiting to be fired up and driven oo yeah and its not a centerbold head motor. im hearing i would have problems with my flywheel and crank. being balanced right and other stuff this older motor has all the sensor ports i need but im talking in general would a tpi ecm work? anything would help me out here

RV cam? Not exactly what one would equate with performance.

Yes, the TPI ECM will work with the older engine. "Centerbolt motor" means nothing to the ECM. You will need a 2-piece rear main style flywheel, meaning one for the '83-'85 3rd gen manual transmission application, and will have to elongate the center two intake base mount bolts on each side (or get an '85-'86 or Vette base). If the engine was balanced the smart way, changing the flywheel won't affect anything.

I noticed you had mentioned some 202 valves those would be very tight even in a .060 overbore 305, the 1.94 I and 1.5 E valves will do plenty for even the hottest 305 and you wont have clearance issues.
