Help identify...

I believe there was an engine swap in my car.. We were told it was just rebuilt but it may be from a different car... In our repair manual it says valve covers will have center bolts.. mine doesn't... It has the bolts on the edges... So then its either a different year or its got different heads on it. Using the manifold numbers can you find out what the engine came out of? if not anyway to find this out?

Check the casting numbers on the heads to see what they are. The numbers on the block might also be interesting. Does it have TBI or TPI on it now?

The head casting number is under the valvecovers. The block casting number is behind the driver side head.
