im wanting to take my stock v-6 motor out of my 91 firebird and put a chevy small block in. Heres my question, the car has a 5 speed trany, will the trany bolt to a small block bellhousing and will i have to get a diff cross member, or will it all bolt up togather? does this question make sense? thanks for the help

It makes sense. It's been discussed many times around here.
The V6 T5 is an inferior transmission. The input shaft is smaller, so V8 disks don't work with it. There is talk that there is an S10 clutch disk that is close to the V8 size and has the 16 splines of the V6 transmission input shaft. But, the V6 transmission is plain and simple even weaker than weak V8 T5's.
Crossmember, driveshaft, etc., all fit.
