V6 for a V6 swap
I wanted to know if anyone has done a 2.8 v6 for a 4.3 v6 vortek swap. If so how hard was it and if not how hard would it be. I have a s10 blazer I am going to part out but the motor is strong and I want to put it in to my camaro. Let my know what's up about it I would really like to it thanks for your time.

Re: V6 for a V6 swap
This has been done a few times. Just search the engine swap forum.
You need a V8 belhousing for your 5 speed to match up. It's best to use the V8 transmission as well.
Your 4.3 motor mounts don't line up properly and you'll have to modify a few holes in the crossmember to get them to fit.
I have not seen a successful wiring job done to run the 4.3 fuel system.
Good luck!
