drop base vortec?

drop base vortec?
I have the performer vortec intake and quadrajet carb with ho air cleaner. Eyeballing with hood still off it doesn't look to fit. If its not going to,what drop base would I use? I didn't think the Elde performer would set that high

Understand that the air cleaner can stand above the fender lines. The hood is bowed up in the center.
There isn't a specific "Vortec" air cleaner needed. Anything with a drop of about 1-1/2" will do. The Performer is about 1/2" taller at the carb mount than the stock manifold.
