350 swap and rear end

i wasnt sure where to post this but im putting a 350 in my camaro that making over 300 hp and i was wondering if it would be smarter to just get posi in my current rear end or to swap in a 93-02 rear end. Any ideas or comment would be much appreciated.

What's the car's purpose: track, daily driver? I run an OE 10-bolt with limited slip behind my 350/330. I've experienced no problems with it as my DD.

The 4th gen rears are identical to the later 3rd gen rears except for the width.

If you don't have posi now, then get a carrier for the later 28-spline axles, and aftermarket 28-spline axles. Weld the tubes to the center housing, put a support cover on it, and you'll have a rear that is just as strong (perhaps slightly stronger, since the axles are shorter) than a 4th gen's, and won't have to mess with the 4th gen's backspacing issues.
