ignition problems--still

I have been fighting an intermittent miss in my swapped-in 350 into 84 camaro. got rid of the cc-carb and distributor,....complete new ignition system, but I have a miss that shows up in some cylinders more often than others, watching a hand-held plug firing indicator......when doing away with the cc-stuff, is it still ok to use the original harness plugs for the distributor ??? or does it have to be re-wired seperately.......I have disconnected the tach wire, no change, changed cap rotor & wires, no change,...tested the coil and module and they test fine.....starts easy when warm (choke not adjusted when cold)...........need help........
