electric fan problem
ok, i just put a new 383 stroker in my car and pulled the old wore out 305 out of it. well what i am tryin to figure out is im guessing that the electirc fan sensor is in the passanger side head. im not positive but thats where it was at on my 305. anyways i got a sensor for a 87 350 camaro hoping the threads were bigger but they wasnt so i had to get one of them adapters that has a smaller thread on the inside and bigger on the outside. anyways my problem is i put this engine in and it overheated on me after driving it to the store to put gas in it. blew the draincock out of the radiator. well come to find out my electric fan aint workin. where is the sensor for the electric fan? im not sure how it just stopped workin after swapping engines unless i didnt hook something back up like it should be. can anyone help me out and tell me where all sensors and relays are for the electirc fan so i can figure out why its not working. just fyi it works with the a/c on cause thats how i drive it right now to keep it cool as i have no other way to work!! and it actually runs right around 200 consistently!!

The fan switch is in the passenger side head. The connector for it looks a lot like the knock sensor connector, make sure you don't have those two switched.
