My friend is putting a goodwrench 350 in his 89 with a serpentine setup will the 6 3/4 or 8" balancer for a pre 86 350 bolt to the crank pulley of a 89 l98? Is there anything else that will be a problem when bolting up the serpentine assembly

 

Yes it will all bolt up.

All the same holes have been in the front of a SBC block since 1955.

There may be a bolt hole or 2 missing in the heads, however.

 

its going to have vortecs those have the holes i think maybe not?

 

The Goodwrench engine (typical 350 replacement, anyway) doesn't have Vortec heads.

The Vortec heads have the needed holes.

 

yes he knows hes adding the vortec heads hes copying the chevy hi performance goodwrench build those 76cc heads are in the trash should he pick the 6 3/4 or 8" balancer im guessing all 350 86 and older are internal balance?

 

All 350's are internal balance.

'86-later SBC's have one-piece rear main seal, but that doesn't make them external balance.
