One simple question?
On my 88 IROC 305TPI to ZZ383 Stealthram swap with a holley 950 commander. Do I need to keep my stock ECU? I have several folks wanting to purchase my 305TPI, but they all want the computer as well. Can they have it? Many thanks

The best way to find out is unplug it and see if there is anything you need not working.... It mainly controls engine management, which is now done by holley. My '91 firebird's computer has been sitting in the garage for months. It may control the speedo on some cars, but there are posts on that.

I took the plunge, sold the stock motor and computer last saturday. I believe you are correct and I will not need it. Thanks
