i need some help. i know this is a site for camero's, firebirds, ect. but i have a 92 chevy shortwide with a 305 tbi and i was wondering if i can just swap out the intake off of my 305 and putting it on a LT1. also what else would i need to do?

I really hope you're not suggesting sticking a crap TBi intake on to of an lT1, and NO it won't work at all. If you want to swap to an LT1 you need to swap everything over, engine, wiring, ecm, etc.

wow that sounds kinda cool. and yes a stock tbi sucks but they can be modified to flow aprox. 600cfm

I can understand going carb from TBI or TPI (sorta understand, anyway), but sacrificing the power, economy and driveability of LT1 or LS1 EFI to the gods of old-school just doesn't make a lick of sense to me.
