Is this 350 a good deal?

In the next year or so I plan to swap my 305 for a 350. The rear 2-pc seal is leaking in the 305, but I've always thought when I pulled it to replace that seal...I'd replace it. Remembering that I don't have to worry about emissions...I have no computer...I saw this in the paper...what do you think? Just need heads & more details on the cam, right?

chevy 350 block, 4 bolt main, 3970010 casting, 60 over, fresh from machine shop, comes w/speed pro, cast flat top piston & rinngs...$600.

Is it an assembled short block, or just a block with pistons and rings?

It sold...but yes, it was put together. Fair deal I suppose, just wanted someone to second me on it. Back to the search.

Thanks!!

Too much! 60 over is about the limit, so it's seen it's best life already - no room for future rebuild. 350's are too bountiful to not be a little more picky.
