Passenger car LO5's had roller lifters, truck LO5's did not. The majority of LO5's were put in trucks, and the majority of them were not machined for roller lifters. So, that's a crapshoot there.
LO5 heads aren't anything to write home about, but they aren't totally worthless in a mild build.
What to do with LO3 TBI for a 350 is covered in the TBI forum.
K&N is a "must-don't" in my book.

If its the stock caddy engine it will have roller lifters and the 305 peanut roller cam for a grand total of 185 HP/300TQ. Good thing is, it will most likely have flat-top pistons for a 9.6:1 compression ratio with 65cc chambers.

It certainly wouldn't have roller rockers from the factory. Roller lifters is as far as they went.
