Re: will this fit
Yes it will, but will need a few small changes. The main problem is the dipstick - its on the other side of the block from what your 82 originally had, and will interfere with the stock exhaust manifolds. You can 'tweak' the tube to fit between the manifold and cylinder head, but its a very tight fit. If you use a set of headers, its a non-issue. The other problem is the starter bolt holes - the 350 uses a staggered pattern, the Camaro uses the straight-accross pattern. The one inner bolt hole is the same on either pattern, but the outter one is in a different spot. No big deal, just need to drill and tap the hole in the block before the engine goes in. Takes 10 mins to do.
You'll probably need to use the Camaro's oil pan on the 350, I think the truck pans are different. Should change over to the other engine with no problems though.
I'd suggest checking the casting numbers on the heads to see what they are - might be worth your while to take the Camaro's heads and swap them on if its still the original 305. I would definitely take the Camaro's intake and carb (I'm assuming its carb'd - most are) and install it on the 350, as well as all the Camaros accessories. You'll need to change over the flywheel/flexplate and starter from the Camaro too, as they are different from the ones the 350 might have.
