305 to 350 air to fuel ratios
Hey guys im finally done with my swap thanks to everyones help, i took it to get smogged and it failed at the co levels being 1.0 higher than normal. i have an 83 trans am with a 350 in it. my question is, is their a way to adjust the air ratio to give the engine more air. do you typically need to adjust the ratios when doing this swap? my carb is electric so how would i adjust them? help please lol i want my registration so i stopped getting pooled over

Depends upon when it is failing. If idle, make sure you've got the idle air bleed correct. If cruise, a common problem is leaking well plugs on the bottom of the fuel bowl (need to remove the carb to see them, and best to remove the throttle body to get to them).
Another common culprit is a weak O2 sensor - not weak enough to set a trouble code, but weak enough to give false lean indications to the ECM.
Before anything, make sure your ignition is up to snuff, and timing properly set.

Re: 305 to 350 air to fuel ratios
it failed at 15 and 25 mph when i did the retest yesterday it failed again. wat are the well plugs and if their leaking should i just get a new carb... the co levels got a little better but they were still pretty high, that cat wouldnt have anything to do with it would it? where would i find the idle air bleed is that the star screws under the throttle plate? cuz it idles at 2100 sometimes on a cold start till it heats up

O2 sensor, most likely.
Well plugs are on the bottom of the fuel bowl/main body.
