305 TPI to a 350 none TPI, Possible to make 350 TPI?
Is it possible to have a 305 TPI, and make a 350 TPI, I am horribly new at this stuff and know nothing, Thank you for the help so much!
And what might I need to do to make that happen? Will a lot of the 305 parts for "TPI" just more or less slide right on to the 350?

What year?
The "hardware", the stuff that bolts onto the engine itself, is basically the same. The difference is the details like injector size, knock sensor, and ECM tuning.

It is an 1985 Iroc. I mean is it something that is done each and everyday here. Or is this something that is a little more crazy. I wouldn't think so just curious.
The 305 TPI that I have is crazy worn out and figure if I am going to do something might as well be a 350 right? I am really really new at this stuff.
Just want to know how hard it is I guess.

I have done this swap with my 85 tpi iroc. The intake and heads will all bolt on to the 350. You have a mass air flow sensor so this makes it easier. The Mass air flow sensor will be able to compensate for the added displacement without having to have the computer worked over. The only thing you got to watch out for is if you decide to use different heads on the 350. You will have to make sure they will bolt up to the tpi. The tpi uses a slightly different angle on a few of the bolts than normal small blocks. Mine is running the stock 305 injectors and running the hypertech 305 chip and runs fine. I also put dished pistons for the 305 heads to keep the compression around stock. But you don't have to.

'85 wasn't the best effort with regard to the ECM. '86-'88 are better.
