l have a 95 camaro 3.4 its gone bad l have a friend thats got a 90 something 4.3 vortex will it work and what do l have to change please help me my wife is drivering my truck

 

ok not to be an *** but this is thirdgen.org not fourth....but ill try to throw you a bone. the 3.4 is a 60 degree v6 and the 4.3 vortec is a 90 degree v6 alot of differences, mounts are different ud need a new transmission or at least new bell housing, plus all the computer tuning and everything involved it would cost alot of money and be a headache...search craigs list or the junkyards for a 3.4 they made a ton of them and then swap it in its the esiest and cheapest swap.... hope that helps...

no prob what exactly is wrong with the 3.4 in the camaro right now...

 

l have no oil pressurer and its flooding alot l put a new oil pump but no help

 

you can use a 2.8land 3.1 inplace of the 3.4 but the ecm wont be tuned for it, just an idea but i would just replace the 3.4l. i have a 94 v6 and the thing has never given me a problem so it can be a good motor.
