Found a chevy big block in a small school bus for free from a friend. Don't know if its the useless 366 or if its something else. Does anyone know where a good big block identifying site is ? these are the numbers from the air filter cover - GDT: L86/NA5; Engine Family: KGMO 7.4 AG9; then there is also listed a part number, I am not sure what this corresponds to but it is on the air filter sticker below all the A.I.R./EGR System info - Part NO. 15625740

7.4 = 454. you cant go by what the aircleaner says though. Look a the drivers side of the block, behind the head. on the pad the trans bolts to, and get the number off of it. Then go to mortec.com and look up that number. Viola, you now know what you have.
