Problems with Power steering brackets

The camaro I have has had the power steering bracket grinded down to fit around the headers that were put on them when I got it. Are there aftermarket brackets out there that I can get so I dont have to worry about squeezing these around my new headers when I change out the 305 to a 350?

You mean like Figure A? http://static.summitracing.com/globa...ok-2055hkr.pdf

I've been running mine that way since 2001. What problems are you anticipating?

Re: Problems with Power steering brackets

The person that had the car before me grounded out both sides of that bracket. That helps too. Thanks! This is my first build! So Hear Goes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time for a junkyard run, or getting one from thirdgen.org classifieds.

I suppose some outfit like March would have brackets, but you'd probably have to go with their entire set-up.

Re: Problems with Power steering brackets

I was actually pro-active and already got some brackets from the JYard. Just was not sure how to modify and still keep integrity.
