Will This Motor Work In My Car?
Well, about 4 days ago my 85 Z28 spun a rod bearing and I figure while I'm dropping a new engine in why not do a 350 swap.
here is one of the engines I was looking at as a possible choice. Would this guy work in my car? If so, is there any way to figure a ROUGH estimate on the HP and TQ numbers?

350 Chevy motor that I just pulled out of my street-driven car about six weeks ago. It ran strong with no issues, I only pulled it to put a Pontiac motor back in the car. It probably has less than 15,000 miles on it since it was last rebuilt. The block casting no. is 10066036, which was originally a Goodwrench crate motor with two-piece rear seal made in Mexico. The date code is shown in the pictures, I believe it is the 25th week of 1995. I don't recall if the main caps are two- or four-bolt, but I will try to check and add that info. The heads are casting no. 3932441, which should check out to 76cc chambers with 1.94 intake and 1.50 exhaust values. Casting date code I believe checks out to 1970. The motor has an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake on it, and there is a Summit camshaft installed. I don't have the exact specs for the cam, but I seem to recall it is a dual-pattern with about .530" lift and .050 duration in the 230's. The HEI distributor is good, it just needs a cap/coil and rotor. I also have the alternator and starter which are not shown in the pictures but are included with the motor.

The large cc heads will drop compression, would need to know what pistons are in it to know how badly. Generic cam probably means rough idle and peaky torque band.
Some of those Hencho en Mexico castings were pretty poor. But, at least now it's "seasoned".
Whether it's a good candidate depends a lot upon how much he's asking for it.
