Transmission: T5
Axle/Gears: 3.73
Harness madness!
Swapping a L98 TPI into my 1989 Rs maro.. Has a built T5 trans.
Im getting ahold of three things-
85' Engine harness
85' 305 ECU w/ 350 PROM
(possibly) 87' Dash harness
(all from irocs or z's)
Should this have me set harness/ecu wise? Or am i ganna have problems..
If the 85' engine harness is from a 700r4 car, will it make a difference sense i got a T5?
P.s.. can i just use my same V6 dash harness if i dont get ahold of the 87' dash harness?

why do you want a ecu and harness from a 85? it was a one year only unit, and kinda a "dumb" unit. i would look for somthing from a 87-89

Found a prom and brain on ebay for a 87-89.
Will the 85 harness work on a 87-89 ecm?
Also.. to anyone that knows if i can use my same dash harness let me know.
