intake and harness
intake and harness
1st question- i may be buying an edelbrock intake manifold w/ a holley carb already on it. they're selling it pretty cheap. it says its for an 87 and newer 350. i know i have an older one because of the 2 piece rear main seal. but would i be able to put this on my engine?
2nd question- does anyone have a wiring diagram for an 86 berlinetta 305 carbed. im putting in the 350. i can figure out most of it but a diagram would be helpful.
thanks guys

Re: intake and harness
You can make the intake fit. There are threads on here about elongating the bolt holes, and some have pics to show you a little better. As for for the wiring, since you aren't staying with the cc carb you will want to switch to a non-cc dizzy too. Everything else should be about the same.

Personal opinion: Although you don't give any specifics about the intake or Holley, you'd be better off with a street car to keep the CC q-jet. I've got the GMPP intake manifold that will accommodate either the q-jet or a Holley, and a Holley that I could install, but the q-jet is simply the better choice.
