I got a 89 camaro RS...originally it was a 2.8L engine...when i bought it, it had an old 305 carburated engine(maybe early 70s)...i have been having a lot of problems with it latelly and i found a really cheap v6 89 firebird witha 2.8L engine on sale for cheap...so my question is:

- Is the camaro (V6 2.8L) engine exactly the same as the firebird (V6 2.8L)?
- will the wiring for the gages, dashboard, cruise control hook up straight to the firebird engine without any modifications?
- what about fuel lines...etc...
