hello i recently bought a 1990 iroc-z over the summer as a project. It had no motor or no tranny. I have rebuilt a 350 carburated from scratch to put in it. I've finally got it done and slapped her in there. As i was attemting to put the throttle cable and detent cable on the carb the detent cable was way too long. Its a 700r4 tranny i had put in it with a 670 holly street avenger carb. i tried all the older style brackets and even bought the holly throttle cable and detent brackets and the detent is still way to long. And the throttle cable isnt the right length either. i had replaced the throttle cable with a cable from a carburated camaro and its still not working. Anyone have any ideas on what i could do to make up for the lengths? are there any special brackets for this?
