Camaro 305 into 94 blazer

I have an extra 305 from a camaro and I never did a motor swap before so I figured I could practice on my truck. It is pretty quick already for what it is. I wanted to know how hard this would be and if anyone knows any guides for doing this. I would probably build the motor before I put it in and keep the same T.B.I. fuel injection. Could I use the same computer and what would I have to do? The motor it has in it now is a 4.3l

The mods will probably delete this thread but.... Buy the s10 swap manual from Jags That Run publishing. Summit sells the book also. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Thanks, I figured I would do a swap on a vehicle that I do not like that much to practice.

Re: Camaro 305 into 94 blazer

I swapped a roller 305 into a 92 blazer and kept the original tbi. It runs fairly decent but leaves a lot to be desired. Apparently mine came with a 92 4.3 ecm specific to this truck and I cannot find a chip or replacement v8 ecm for it. Yours should be a lot easier. Just find yourself a 305 ecm from a 94 k1500 and it should be a plug and play affair. Just double check your pin outs. Good luck.
