swapping 305 tbi auto into a 5 speed car.....
I own a 92 RS that has the 305 with an auto behind it. I just bought a 92 without a motor and trans and I want to swap my 305 into it. I also am thinking of getting a 5 speed for it, but i am not sure yet. Can I take my auto and put it in this new car using the same computer and harness or do I have to take mine out of my other car and use it?

If the car without the engine/trans was a 305 TBI with auto transmission, you can use its computer. Otherwise, you should use the one out of the donor car.
