ive got a 1990 Rs with 305, want a 350 to get up to about 300 HP
ive already got new exhaust, hookers and magnaflow catback. 3.73 gears with posi, and am looking to spend about 4000.
i wanna keep it tbi. Can i get a new crate L31, new injectors, a vortec, tbi intake. and get it tuned for around that price. and will i be at around 300 HP, if i keep the cam in the L31?

That's basically the "budget 350 swap" on the TBI forum.
yeah but he talks about swapping cams to an LT1 cam. HOw much difference if HP would it be if i kept the L31 cam in it.
