350 swap
ok so i have a few questions.i have 92 rs camaro with a tbi 305 now i found someone localy with a 350 from a 83 pickup will i need to do any special to install this? and will my intake manifold with tb bolt onto it? id rly like to keep with tbid.

The '83 engine will be 2-piece rear main seal, so you'll need to find a 153-tooth flexplate (if auto tranny) or flywheel (if manual tranny). The '83 f-body V8 application will be fine.
The heads on the '83 engine have all of the intake manifold mount bolts and a 90 degree angle. The TBI manifold has the center two mount bolts on each side at 72 degrees. You can try to modify the bolt holes to make them 90 degrees, or you can get a carb manifold with the proper bolt holes and get a TBI to carb adapter plate.
Everything else will be the normal 305 to 350 TBI stuff.

Correct. But, if you build a 383 that's not internally balanced, you need a 153-tooth flexplate that is weighted.
