I recently purchased a 1991 rs that had been converted to a tpi setup out of an 86 iroc. The ecm, harness, and fuel pump have also been swapped out of the 86. when i try to start it will turn over and get spark but i am not getting an injector pulse. any ideas would b greatly appreciated thx

 

Compatability issues are common when swapping pre-90 parts into 90+ or visa versa, components between model years. In other words, it's not a plug and play swap. You find this out once you've tried it and it does not run or the wiring harness doesnt match the computer and or is pinned incorrectly...

You're probably running into a vats issue. That would be my guess. Bypass it or program delete it out of the chip. I had to do that with my 91 speed density swap into my 87 because the injectors would not fire otherwise.
