can a SBC/th350 go in as one unit?
With the hood off
Car about 18" off ground on jack stands...
Can i get a SBC/TH350 in the car with a chary picker+tilter or do they have to go in separate? I took them out separate but it was a PITA with the trany bolts and my fat hands.

if you have a long reach hoist, then yes. usually the nose of the car gets in the way. It really helps to remove it.
Its a tight fit, you will have to raise the engine really high and lower the trans and stab it in. One of those leveler attachments for the hoist will be a lifesaver.

Ya i have a tilter.. wouldnt think of doing a engine swap with out it.

yeah you can do that, do what the other guy said and take the Radiator out and it should go in really easy and you will have more room.
