longest engine swap ever!
So today i got my 383 all put back together and in the car. The only thing that needs to be hooked back up is the exhaust. Well anyway i ordered a starter from summit, talked to a rep to make sure it will fit my car. I go to put the starter in and no luck, the starter gear's throw is too short and doesnt engage the flywheel. So i call summit and they tell me that i didnt get the right starter and they will pay shipping b/c it was their fault and send the right one.
Moral of this story: Check to make sure that crap fits before putting everything together.
Seems like i wont have this car done till next summer! I see tons of nice cars out and all i want is mine!

I pulled the 305 out of Berlinetta #2 in February 2008, and the car still isn't put back together. Think you can beat that???
Swaps always seem to take longer than you would like. Being sent the wrong part certainly is frustrating.
