My son and I are going to take 305 tp from a doner trans am and put it in an 88 camaro that had a 305 tb. We have the complete trans am. (underbody rust killed this one) and the camaro is already minus the engine. I would love to keep the fuel injection rather than do a swap to a carb but really need an idea about how the wiring is going to work. I m thinking about swapping the entire wiring harness and computer if necessary. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I just recently took out my harness and TPI, Its a pretty straight foward task, Take the harness in the camaro out, Its easy cause the whole harness connects on the passenger side up into the car. Take the pass side lower dash cover off, unplug the computer and OBDII plugs off, Fish the harness out.
The TPI harness goes in the same way, just mark everything from the donor so when you go to put all the connections back on you know exactly where they go.

p.s, Take the fuel pump while your at it, the stock TBI pump wont put out enough pressure to run the TPI....
