305 tbi stick to 350 tpi
I want to swap out my 305 tbi for my 350 tpi but the tpi 350 has a auto behind it and the 305 is stick,and I want to keep the stick behind the 350 tpi.Is the computer on the 350 with auto going to allow me to keep the stick behind it with out major issues?Any advice please

There was a reason why GM didnt put the 350 in front of the T5, The T5 didnt have that strong of a input shaft. The ECM of the TPI will try to control the lockup in an auto and since theres no auto its gonna throw a code. A new prom can be burnt without the lock up in it. Someone can correct me if im wrong.
